Hello again,

I know its been awhile but a lot of stuff's been happening.  I moved up to college in Gainesville.  Go Gators, the third best football team (after USC and Tennessee).  Anyways, a lot's changed.  Kaley and I broke up and gone on to our separate lives at separate schools.  The reason sited was the ever popular "artistic differences".  But yeah, now I'm up at school, able to do whatever I want (which doesn't include homework).  The drinking age here might as well be 18 which is a major plus.  I'm eve getting to move my drums up here by end of next month.  Another band could even be on the way, I'm making contacts so hold your breath.  I've met a bunch of really cool people, some cool guys on the floor.  I'm hanging out a decent bit with this girl Kat who i met at preview.  She's got an awesome taste in music and doesn't put up with my crap so she's fun to hang out with.  Pretty much it, look out for further posts about the status of my current musical projects.  Whatever it is, it'll probly be horrible.  But you all have to come out and see me play anyway.  lol, just messing.

O yeah, side note.  Garden State is the most awesome movie ever!!!  I'm in love with Natalie Portman's character and the whole movie just makes you think.  I really portrays a lot of the issues young adults go through separating from their childhood homes.  Its also about finding yourself and learning how to feel in a world that encourages us to be numb.  The soundtrack kicks ass too.  Fell in love with The Shins so I've been playing their first cd non stop (thanx Pete).  Anyways, gotta head to class (yes, I actually go to that....most of the time).  Now that I realize people actually read this from time to time I'll keep writing.

Catch ya later

Good morning my faithfull readership,

I return once again to impart random, useless ramblings and advice in hopes of entertaining you for even the briefest instant.  Its been awhile since the last update, I tend to get lazy with this thing.  Thursday was my birthday which means I'm now 18 and legal for everything except alcohol.  Of course legality rarely stops me anyways, but its a thought.  Not much of a party to speak of, my parents are throwing me a going away/late birthday party soon so that should be cool.  If you're not sure if you're invited, just ask.  I have gotten some cool presents so far.  Porn and a cigar (Bob), cookies and boxers (Danielle and Sarah), Fight Club on dvd, a cool shirt, and two necklaces (Kaley, the best girlfriend ever).  Already watched FC two and a half times in two days.  Its the best movie.  Only real abuse of my "I'm 18" priveledges so far has been a trip to strokers.  I did follow that up with Warped Tour today (or is it yesterday).  Very fun, good times introducing Kaley to concerts (even if she did almost leave me for the guys in Yellowcard).  I'm now burnt to a crisp but it was all worth it.  That's pretty much it for now tho.  Keep those comments comming.......or maybe send 'em in the first place.  Its easier to get myself motivated to write in this if I know people are reading this crap.  Either way, stay cool and stay in school.

hola and welcome once again,

I know its been awhile since the last post but I have an excuse.  Actually.....there's no really good excuse.  Its just been a lot of work, drums, time with friends and, of course, time with my wonderful g/f.  Maybe even too much time.  Rumor has it she's gonna get sick of me any day now .  At least I hope that wink was warranted.  Anyways, life's been interesting but no major complaints.  Its been great being able to relax for the most part.  Of course I love being with Kaley and tonight was fun being able to hang with Bob, Nate and Alex.  More good news in that I finally broke my writer's block.  All it took was watching a pair of psychologically trying movies: Girl Interrupted and The Butterfly Effect.  And that brings me to my new project.  Saturday Kaley and I went and got her a guitar which she named Kelsey (long story behind that one).  So now she's learning to play and I, in my constant pursuit of musical skills, have picked up my acoustic again and tried to teach myself some stuff.  I know Pete will point out that I'm much more of a natural bassist but I gotta do something to keep entertained (and not let my g/f show me up too much).  Wow....I wrote a lot more than I thought i would, which means its time to sign off.  Stay classy, my internet readership (all 5 of you)

Dave

Hey everyone,

Didn't have enough room on my profile so I'm gonna stick these lyrics on here.  Enjoy.

How can I help it if I think you're funny when you're mad
Trying hard not to smile though I feel bad
I'm the kind of guy who laughs at a funeral
Can't understand what I mean?
Well, you soon will
I have a tendency to wear my mind on my sleeve
I have a history of taking off my shirt

Welcome, once again, to the exciting world of Dave

Ok, maybe exciting is overstating it just a tad but I had to hook you in some how.  Life is pretty much the same old, same old at this point.  Worked the usual 7+ hours today with the same interesting cast of old people including Betty, the hardest working hunchback in existance, and Robert, who smells like his guts are rotting inside him (turns out he doesn't like baths).  Its nice to have the girlfriend home again but it also means i have to start behaving again.....total bummer.  Not much else going on....probably jam some more tomorrow.  I need to start playing drums everyday again.  If anyone out there needs a drummer for anything just contact me......I'll play pretty much anything, anywhere.  Ok, enough from me.  I have noticed the comments slowing to a trickle so my plan to bore you to death is going as scheduled......bwahahaha.....but for now I need a shower.  Stay classy, internet community.

Dave
